Ibicella and probiscidea

Whats the diference between these plants??

How do you germinate and grow them?

You might want to check the topics below this one...specifically "Is anyone growing Ibicella or Proboscidea?"
Ibicella has yellow flowers, while Proboscidea varies from pink to violet to white.
 
Why are they in seperate genuses?

That's genera, not genuses, hee hee. Plants in different genera have significant differences. I have not grown both of them enough to be aware of these differences, but they must be there.
