Years ago..maybe 7-10 years ago, the ICPS had an offer of Sarracenia rubra ssp. alabamensis plants..the goal was to get a lot of plants out in cultivation, as a means to help save the very endangered variety..
At that time, I received a Sarracenia rubra ssp. alabamensis AL-02 (ICPS Location AL-02) from the ICPS.
The ICPS never said what "location AL-02" means..for obvious reasons..
so I dont know..
So I have always just kept it labeled as:
Sarracenia rubra ssp. alabamensis AL-02 (ICPS Location AL-02)
Can I legally *give* a division of this plant to a fellow CP-hobbiest?
same state..no money exchanged..plant will not be shipped through the mail.
I believe this would be legal, but im not 100% sure..
anyone know for sure?
if no one knows, I will just email the ICPS directly and ask..
thanks,
Scot
