Documentary: Secrets of the Longleaf Pine

This is a fantastic documentary on the longleaf pine ecosystem!! It features Sarracenia at 39:35, but also many significant conservation issues within this ecosystem, such as gopher tortoises, indigo snakes, and the red-cockaded woodpecker. My friend Will Rogers, who does research with Sarracenia, is also featured here. He had a huge role in the Sarracenia family tree paper put out by his lab earlier this year, where he did much of the DNA work. Jenny Cruse-Sanders, also featured, is one of the folks at ABG taking a strong stand for Sarracenia conservation efforts.

I hope the documentary will get out to a much wider viewership via the community. Thanks for watching!
