I am posting this message from Bombay, India.
I am interested in growing carnivorous plants.
Can anyone help me in making a start ?
Can anyone give me details of interested
persons in India ?

Hi
I can't recall seeing any carnivorous plant resources in India unfortunately, but I'm sure there's some people out there somewhere.
You might be able to order plants from Japanese nurseries, or maybe Triffid park in Australia.

Hello

I only know of one carnivorous plant from india, and that's Nepenthes khasiana. It's from somwhere in northern india, and it grows at really high elevations. It's endagered, so you might have trouble collecting it from the wild over there, if that was you original plan. I agree with alvin though, see if you can order anything from Cp nurseries near you. I know that Borneo Exotics is in Sri Lanka, so that might be the easiest place to buy from.

Many CPs grow in India - lots of utrics, some sundews, and at least one nepenthes.

I know that there is at least one CPer from india who posts on the CP Listserv.
