Need quik advice

Hi everyone,

I know I don't really post in here, but something happens that needs attention
My "feeder fish" goldfish bit off the tail of my telescope eye goldfish, or it came off some other way. What should I do?
Thanks

If possible, get another tank for the the telesope eye goldfish, even if it is a small one. You may need to treat it for bacterial infection from the wound. Also, bear in mind that a new tank setup takes some time for a new filter to be "seasoned." so, the sooner - the better in getting a new one running. Fancy goldfish, as with fancy guppies or whatever, don't move too fast and are easy oickings for other fish.

Hmm. . . now there's a "wall" between them, so there won't be anymore trouble. Time will see. . .

I would add a teaspoon of salt to each gallon of water to help relieve the stress of the incident.
