I play for the fun of it. I don't even put money in, so whatever I get, it doesn't matter. For the two years that this pool has been going, I only won one week. so that's like 20 times I have lost. I don't ever lose badly, I just lose. I am either of the mode or slightly better, but only once was I good enough to win - and have it be meaningless. Besides. don't ya get a kick at listening to the (usually) guys analyzing everything on Monday morning? We have one gal who takes a poll of what the others are picking another who goes by how pretty the uniform looks. We had one guy who chose by how tough the team critter sounded. Needless to say, they haven't done well.

Ah...all this talk of football brings back fond memories of last year when my beloved pats were a sure-bet to win any game. Now, because of the horrible schedule given to them by the NFL and the loss of two key coaches, they're limping along.

Hopefully, the return of teddy will shift the momentum.....

As I recall, when my beloved Bills played them in the playoffs a few years ago, Tedy Bruschi had something to do with a turnover, preventing Buffalo from getting to the Super Bowl!

I remember the season (I think two years ago) when the pats and the bills faced off in the opening week and the pats were crushed 0-31--it was devestating considering how horrible the bills are! It's akin to Tiger Woods losing a round of golf to a 90 year-old blind quadriplegic

But, later in the season, they faced-off again and the pats won 31-0! Oh sweet revenge.....

Kansas City at Miami I think the dolphins can rebound this week and Ricky will have a big game
Indianapolis at Houston I know it doesn't make sense but I think Houston is due for a win
Pittsburgh at Cinncinatti No comment
Detroit at Cleveland Detroit isn't very giid but Cleveland is aweful
San Francisco at Washington Washington has been too lucky lately
Green Bay at Minnesota Home field advantage
New Orleans at St. Louis St. Louis is too good to fall to 2-4
San Diego at Philadelphia Philadelphia is just gonna win
Dallas at Seattle Dallas is on a role and they wont stop this week
Tennessee at Arizona Tennessee is just a better team
Denver at NY Giants Denver can't keep going at this pace
Baltimore at Chicago Baltimore is a better team then their record shows
Buffalo at Oakland as much as I hate to pick the Bills they'll win
NY Jets at Atlanta Atlantas Defense will come out and Vick will have a good game

You're welcome! Some of this week's matchups, in my opinion, seem to be trickier in that a slightly stronger team's opponent is the home team. It's more difficult to predict.
