I visited the bog a couple weeks ago, and for the first time saw some dews (D. rotundifolia). I had gone in early spring and fall earlier, so had never seen the dews. The pics are on my webpage HERE. Sorry for the large amount of pics. There was a pic I wanted to point out that I took where there are those species of mosquitos that only live in S. purpurea ssp. purpurea, and they're young swim in the juices and don't get harmed.
Not the best quality pic, but you can easily see the mosquito sitting on the edge. It's babies were in the liquid.
