Loves VFT's!
My boyfriend got me these today! I got a 10 inch pot with a VFT, a Pitcher Plant and a Dew (Can someone tell me what kind of Pitcher Plant and Dew plant they are?) I also got 2 small VFT's and 2 small Pitcher Plants. The small plants and the 10 inch pot were cheap!! Here are some pics.

WOW! I've never seen pots like that for sale. That's a D. spatulata and an S. purpurea.

The big VFT looks like a B-52.

Are they both S. purpurea's cause the ones that are reddish are in the big pot and the ones in the small pots are all green. Wow I have a B-52! I've always wanted one

Yes, the red ones have had more sun.

Oh, cool!

. Thats how I got my VFT's so I guess I can rule mine as a B-52. Also the trap size of the newest and biggest trap is 1 and a half inch.

I heard B-52 traps can grow up to 2 inches.

What's wrong with the red pots? You always find something wrong with my posts.

Whenever I've seen/purchased cp's planted in that crappy half rotten LFS at chain-stores, they've always looked like that.

Look at that pic.

The pot is probably made in Cleveland ohio. It's potted in 100% pure peat.

You'r good. I still don't see how where the pot is made or what it's planted it matters. It just looks like crappy peat to me. I've got lots of little red pots.

If you'r really worried, call him and ask to see his greenhouses/TC lab. ...taking a few pics for the rest of us would be nice, too:D

0zzy I don't get it. What is wrong with my plant?

I have been to his green house. No TC at all. I've seen thousands of vft bulbs that were just "brought in" I even have emails where his employees say they wild collect.

But under the law there is nothing I can do unless I catch him on private property digging up plants. Even then it'll be his word against mne.
