Here in the Los Angeles area, we are experience a rare "deep" freeze" with temps in the high 20's this weekend! And to think it was 84 degrees just 5 days ago! It actually snowed yesterday at 1000' elelvation!
You can thank an El nino weather pattern for the goofy weather, exacerbated by human activity. Up until now, Buffalo,, NY had been getting temps a good 10 degrees above normal. We get a reality check this weekend and beyond.
Up here in the true "Upstate NY" we are sooo messed up in weather terms. We have no snow, just rain, above freezing temperatures, but the other night we actually got down to 9F a normal for us. Its almost the middle of January and we have had bulbs pushing! What the heck is up with that!?!!?!?
