Volunteering for my daughter's school's field trip

My daughter's 2nd grade class is having a field trip to the science resource center (a building shared by all CF ISD schools, I think) for a field trip called "eco adventure" -- it's a series of four exhibits about different ecosystems: desert, saltmarsh, rainforest, and wetlands.
I volunteered to help teach one of the stations, and we had training for it yesterday.

The wetlands exhibit featured -- you guessed it -- carnivorous plants!

So, I was pretty geeked to sign up to teach that one. I lent the SRC a number of plants from my collection to replace the sickly ones they had, and took the sickly ones to nurse back to health.

How noble. That would be a lot of fun.
