You may not be an opera fan (chances are pretty good of that) and I can't say that I really am either, but I have a deep appreciation for Mr Pavarotti and his work. He was certainly a legend. As a freelance musician, I had always hoped that I'd get to work with him but never had the chance.

If you are a fan or are at least interested in seeing him singing duets with James Brown and Barry White, check out the quick tribute I tossed together with some clips I found last night at the blog section of www.myspace.com/thorthedoublebass

I have never been an opera fan, and dont really know anything about it.
but I do know Pavarotti was an amazing talent, and the world has lost a great artist.

There is one song I have always really liked, that has Pavarotti on it.
the song is "Miss Sarajevo" by U2, it features Pavarotti in the second half.
its a hauntingly beautiful song..it was on the Princess Diana tribute album.

R.I.P Pavarotti.

I was very sorry to hear he died. I don't care for opera but I still appreciate his exceptional talent. Another good one gone. :(
