How to prove to your parents that you didn't make the elctric bill go up by alot

Well my dad got mad at me all the sudden(stress) for me using alot of power thus making the electric bill $200 so tommorow I am going to show him this :

Basis of wattage,kilo-wattage and electrical costs:
1 kilowatt = 1000 watts =1000 watt hours= 1 100 watt light bulb that is on for 10 hours= 7 cents per kilowatt for Coos Curry Electric.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
The lighting I run :

2 15 watt Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) Cool Colored Bulbs running for 12 hours per day (30 Watts X 12 Hours X 365 Days) =131400 Watt Hours divide by 1000(convert into kilowatts) =131.4 kilowatts times 7 cents($.07)=
$9.198
2 Warm Colored/General use GE CFL 36 watt bulbs running 12 hours per day 365 days per year. (62 watts X 12 Hours X 365 days)=271560 Watt Hours Divide by 1000 to convert into KiloWatts =271.56 Kilowatts X 7 cents($.07)
$19.0092
2 40 watt GE Aquarium T12 Fluorescent Bulbs running 12 hours per day and 365 per year(80 Watts X 12 Hours X 365 Days) That's 350400 Watt Hours convert to KW(KiloWatts)350.4 Times seven Cents($.07) =
$24.528
Total KiloWatts used per year : 753.36
That's a total of : $52.7352
Hope thsi helps with other people :)

Is the total Per month? Probably a stupid question. I'm trying to figure out the Difference between CFLs and incandescent.

probably a little over 4$ per month by that calc dude. :) I noticed mine is similar as well. I tend to use 0.99 KWH. :p

I calculated everything once, and I think running 3 dual tube fluorescent fixtures for 16 hours is 10 cents a day or something. Oh well...my electric is only like $35 a month anyway

o_O Wish I knew the electrical rates around here to test it out.
