The Curious World of Carnivorous Plants
A Comprehensive Guide to Their Biology and Cultivation
By Wilhelm Barthlott, Stefan Porembski, Rüdiger Seine, and Inge Theisen

one of my sister inlaws sent it to me. only showed up yesterday. havent read through much of it. looks to be a good book. pretty well written even though its my understanding its been translated from German. the pictures are of the same quality of Barry's book. looks of info that hasnt been in Barry's or the Savage Garden. chapters on animal trapping liverworts and fungi....chapters that go into a bit more detail about their evolution and digestive process.....lots of pics taken via a scanning electron microscope......only skimmed through it so far but im impressed

I have been thinking of getting this one for a while now.
I may have to pick it up.

my fiance got this for me for xmas. I have flipped through it a few times. it looks really nice.
