Google Mars

"I have been watching and drawing the surface of Mars. It is wonderfully full of detail. There is certainly no question about there being mountains and large greatly elevated plateaus."
Edward E. Barnard (Astronomer and Bruce Medalist; 1857 - 1923)

Wow....
Enjoy,
Av

That is very cool :) Google is the poop.

I'd go. Send me. I'll take some neps with me and set up a huge garden.

I wish you could actually see the different landers on the map, not just where they had landed.

And could anybody find the face on mars there?

Yup, but it has not looked like a face under better camera pictures for a looong time

Can't wait for the geocaching capabilities.

xvart.

I know it was all just shadows and stuff, but it would still be interesting to see from another angle. I never believed it was what some people thought it was.

Oh,

I didnt think you did; i was thinking of someone else when i said that

Look at the ridge directly "east" of the bottom large mountain in the line of 3, follow it south at the 2nd closest zoom and lookout for some square hills directly west of that ridge a little farther on down... i think it may be one of those.

I'm surprised they didn't mark it on there. I would imagine it's pretty famous.
