NECPS will be at 3 upcoming shows.

Hi everyone -

For those of you who will be in the Northeast soon, The NECPS will have booths this year at The Rhode Island Spring Flower and Garden Show, The Connecticut Spring Flower and Garden Show, and we will have a display at the Boston Flower and Garden Show.

The CT & RI Shows are THIS Thursday Feb 21 - Sunday February 24

It's a first for us to be at the Connecticut show, so I made a mock-up of the 10 ft by 10ft booth (didn't put all the plants in):

Sweet! I might even be able to make the New Haven show!

Gotta run it by my wife to see if we have any conflicts, but it just might happen.

The CT show is in Hartford, not New Haven.

The one in Boston will it have CP's for sale? I might have to check it out.

The NECPS will only have a display.

There may be some vendors there selling CPs.

Good luck at the shows. I hope there are tons of people checking out the plants.

I like the layout of the booth.

Wow, for Thursday, we had non-stop interest from 10am to 8pm at our first ever Connecticut Flower Show booth! Almost everyone wanted to buy plants, but unfortunately we were not selling them since we have a less expensive "Information only" booth. We also ran out of handouts! There may be some new Terraforums members after this weekend.

Bob Rafka and Lauren Rafka helped out today - Bob kept joking to people, "People come IN to our both, but they NEVER leave....." We thought it would be really funny if we put bandages all over our fingers. We let a few kids feed the Nep pitchers with fish food pellets.

Dena Matthews, and Matt Opel. PhD., from UCONN also helped out today.

Here are some pics I hope you enjoy:

A pretty good day for the NECPS!! Tomorrow they are predicting a snowstorm up here, but I hope folks still turn out for the show.

I'm glad Thursday went well. Thanks for posting the pictures.

I might get to the CT show on Sunday. I just shoveled out my neighbor, who's sick, and she said she has tickets and won't go. By the way, I shoveled snow, not dirt. This isn't some kind of Stephen King neighborhood. At least not at the surface.
