If you don't like racing then there is nothing for you here. LOL
On Sunday I went to the first ARCA race at the old Rockingham track. NASCAR made such a huge mistake by getting rid of it. It's an amazing track. I use to go to this track back when Nascar had races here. I saw some of the legends race at this track, including Dale Earnhart, Dale Waltrip, Rusty Wallace, ect.
This was the first race at the Rock since Nascar took the races away.
The first change for the track I noticed was the grandstands on the backstretch had been torn down. The second is the name of the track is no longer North Carolina Speedway. It's not just Rockingham. That's what everybody called it anyway.
You can still see the old letters.
From left to right is Greg Zipidelli, I think one of the Allison's, a NFL player, The guy known as the words strongest redneck, and from American Idol, Josh Gracian.
This guy is Mike Harmon.
You may not know him, but he was in one of the most amazing wrecks of alltime.
The car was split in half and he just stood up from the wreckage. Here's the video of it.

This is a blurry pic of Ken Schrader.
This is one of my favorite drivers, Chad McCumbee. I was hoping he would win, but he finished sixth.
The next guy is Joey Logano. You may have never heard of him but you will. He's going to be the next big name in Nascar. He's only 17 years old. This was his first ever start in the Arca series. He lapped the whole field except for one car. He was unbelievable. He's going to make his first Nationwide start later this year.
Here's the redneck guy. I had an isle seat and all of the celebrities walked by less than a foot from me.
Tony Stewart climbing the flagstand.
The flyover during the National Anthem.

My attempt at trying to get a pic of a car going by at 150 mph.
First casualty of the Rock.
I got more videos, including one of Tony Stewart walking by, but for some reason Youtube don't like them. If I can get them up, I'll post them.
