No, the toilets weren't right there. The sign on the wall says the toilets are in another area (separate for men and women). It's just a communal sink area.

The pit prank does deserve some lawsuits. I'd be pissed if my wallet and everything in it got soaked, plus my old, not waterproof watch. The mirror thing is sheer brilliance in a prank. The water pit; not so much.
