A Cajun(isc) Carnivore
After 3 year of waiting (or actually maybe 4) I finally got blooms on one of my Epiphyllum crenatum!!
My wife missed them cuz she did not want to go outside - her loss!
They were gorgeous and smelled FANTASTIC! I was hoping to get 2 days of bloom or more, but I think the 94F heat did them in today.....another year to wait!

I'm not familiar with this plant. But wow - what fantastic flowers!

nice!!!! ...as for the flowers, too bad they don't last long no matter what you do....heat or no heat
...cereus?

actually E crentum. Often called "night blooming cereus."

ahhhhhhh,ok....i'm not familiar with the common names... and the cereus sp. is totaly diferent

They are awesome!

I have a huge one of those...not sure what I'm going to do with it because I can barely move it. I've photographed it at night flowering. It was really cool to watch.

Nice pics!
