One of my kids and several co-workers and friends have suggested signing up for Facebook and/or Myspace. Why? What are the pros and cons of it?
But I cannot say that I ever want to see random people from my high school. I hated it. Hated it, and don’t really want the memories of it brought up to the surface again by seeing people I never really knew even then.
Yeah I do not get these things either. There is a reason I am not in touch with 90% of my high school, I did not like them in the first place so why would I want to "re-kindle" relationships that were never there to begin with??
What's the furor over the old and new version of Facebook?

These days people don't like change or anything out of their comfort zone... lol.
xvart.
What in the world is a twitter application? I understand about people being uncomfortable about change, but from what I read, this seems to be more than just being change.
For a while there was a big hu-bub about facebook retaining your preferences and information forever. Some people thought this was a violation of rights and policy. If you look at the contract before you actually sign up it's all in there. I've had facebook since 2005 and no one has come to my door asking about my previous information... Simply put if you dont want the world to know something about you.....dont put it on facebook, or online at all for that matter.
11:15 pm - xvart is cursing himself for how much time he wasted updating his twitter account, just to make sure all his friends and family know all the mundane and ridiculous minutia that occurs in his life that they truly couldn't care less about.
