Gmail Drafts Folder

Earlier this week I wanted to edit a folder I had saved in Drafts. I can see the first line of what was written but when I opened the folder, the body of the text was missing. I tried exiting and Gmail asked if I wanted to send or discard my draft. I didn't want to do either. I just wanted to edit it. It won't save and it won't go back. The only way to get out of it was to opt to discard, which used to meant that I would lose the draft. But I didn't it just let me out. This is only happening on the computer at home. It's business as usual a the library or work. What's wrong with the XP desktop computer that I am using at home and how can I fix it?
