Sphagnum Moss Sprouting?

Vbkid

Getting There...
So I have 5- 4 in pots in a covered sterilite container with some very young sundews sprouts under lights 14 hours a day. Recently ,in 2 of the pots, some small ublbs (maybe 2 milimetes across) lifted by extremely thin fibers emerged. In those same 2 pots, what looks to be young sphagnum is also popping up (looks like single tips of sphagnum growing). I'm not concerned if it is sphagnum, but just want to make sure it isn't anythign that will hurt my plants. Is my description that of sphagnum? Does nayone have picture of new sphagnum?
Thanks,
Kyle

P.S. I used peat moss, but no dried sphagnum when I made the planting media.

peat moss IS compacted sphagnum so i wouldnt be surprised if there were a few dormant spores in your peat mix.

but we'd need a pic to make sure it's the real deal.

Yea, this is this first ime I've suspected spores of actually sprouting in it though, I'll try to post a pic later tonight!

I get a kind of sheet moss in my peat.....never any sphag though.
