Bird droppings Nepenthes lowii

:-))Recently I purchased a Nepenthes lowii and after reading that in the wild they mostly feed on bird droppings would I be crazy to give mine the odd piece of budgie poop and would it do the plant any good?
Well I was just wondering!
Thanks

that was an hypothesis. now, it's been verified that shrews poop into the pitchers.

Could be that the poo's worth would be in the specific diet of the animal and fauna around the lowii.
I wonder if there is any meat in a shrew's diet. Even weirder to think the shrew eats the exudate off the pitcher lid and craps in the pitcher.

what would be funnier is if the exudate had laxitive properties....

The REAL question at hand,
is whether to leave the seat up or not
when you are done!
:-))

The real truth of carnivorous plant, they will eat anything for living.

Two Nepenthes and one spoon?

Thanks everyone.
Think I'll give it a go and see what amazing results I get. It's worth a try.
Poop away budgies!
