:poke:where i can take my time lapse shots on the web to have them made in to a slide show?
Im looking around but am coming up blank so far.
i can assemble them in my Canon program but cant seem to figure out how to save the file and transfer it .:crazy:

Is there an option or tool in the Canon program to create/save slideshows?

Google "slideshow maker"

Microsoft has a free one. This will create a WMV file that can be uploaded to Flickr or Photobucket, as long as you don't exceed the file size/clip length limits or violate content restrictions:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx

Flickr takes the following video formats:
* AVI (Proprietary codecs may not work)
* WMV
* MOV (AVID or other proprietary codecs may not work)
* MPEG (1, 2, and 4)
* 3gp
* M2TS
* OGG
* OGV

Photobucket: 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, dv, dvx, flv, gif, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, m4v, mts, f4v, qt, wmv, xvid, rm. All video files are converted to mp4 format when you upload them

Photobucket Pro accounts have less restrictions and doesn't convert some formats to MP4.

Or upload the individual photos as a set or folder on Flickr or Photobucket, share the folder or set and they can be viewed as a slideshow. Photobucket has a slideshow tool but you have to use their styles which may not give you the effect you want.

Or convert the images to GIFs and build an animated GIF, provided you have a program to do this. Google search "create animated GIF"

Ok here you go, assuming you're on a PC which must be the case of the Microsoft tool worked.

Get VirtualDub, VirtualDubMod, or VirtualDubMpeg. VirtualDubMod is preferred unless you are dealing with MPEG files.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod/files/

You might want XVid or Divx codecs installed if you don't already. Install the basic or free versions. I prefer XVid:

http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/
http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/

Your photos have to be the same size and numbered sequentially. So let's say they are all 640 x 480 pixels and numbered pic001.jpg, pic002.jpg....pic00x.jpg

Start VirtualDubMod and from the menu -
File - Open Video File - select "image sequence" in file type and browse to the folder containing your sequence and select the first image.
Under video - select "Full Processing Mode"
Under video - select "Compression" and pick one of the codecs installed (XVid for example) - click configure - stick with the defaults for now. Click ok etc.
Under video - select "Frame Rate" - select "Change to" and play with the frame rate values until you get something you like. Use fractions like 0.5 to keep frames on longer.
Under File - Save as - type in the file name (add .AVI just to make sure).

You can play around with various codecs and configuration settings for them to change the quality and compression ratios.

Adding sound is a bit more complicated and I can go over that if you like.

There may be easier to use tools to do this but everything is free and it will get the job done.
