So unfortunately, it's two days into the campaign, but there's still two days worth of good to be made!
Google has a campaign called "Chrome For A Cause", where they total up the number of tabs you open and those add up to donations to charity. 10 tabs will get a book donated, or a tree planted for instance.
And if you're a helter-skelter browser like me....this is an awesome opportunity to do what you do best and effortlessly better the world in a little way :) And what better time, than the season of giving?!

Personally, I'm a FireFox girl, but I can live with Chrome for a couple days if it's for charity. I think everyone else should be able to, too! It can't hurt. ;)

And if you've got a few minutes daily, and want to continue that warm-fuzzy feeling without much effort, then you can take part in this (if you don't already):

And of course, this doesn't get out much, but:

Lastly, if you recall my joining the Let Lolita Live campaign, and want to contribute to that, then you can show your support!:

And that is all. Just trying to spread some good for this holiday season

Consider me causing.

And don't be too surprised if you fall in love with Chrome in the mean time. ;p

*highfive*
You know...Chrome is sleek. It's fast. I'm liking it. I'm having some difficulty adjusting to the different layout (omg, you can't steal my menu bar >.<) but I could get used to it... ;)

There are extensions to customize your bar, just like Firefox. I'll screenshot! LOL.

EDIT: For comparative purposes, here's my Firefox after years of using Firefox and tweaking it to JUST how I like it.

EDIT: I also recommend installing the Smooth Gestures extension for some effortless browsing. ^.~

*gawks at the square windows logo*
o_O What kind of operating system are you on, bro?

But oh man...FireFox might be in trouble then >.>

Windows 7, but I use custom themes, typically from deviantart.

EDIT: Added a screenshot of my Firefox to the above post to compare. Pretty darn close. Even better, I'd venture to say; cleaner. ;p

Ah, gotcha. ;P

Just wanted to share:
3 hours of off and on, regular browsing, and I've got 118 tabs done! That's two tabs shy of 12 trees getting planted

I love Chrome, I fell in love with it the moment I downloaded the test version. XD It's neat and organized, I think it is better than other servers. I open around 150 tabs everyday, I think I've contributed enough to make a difference. :)

My roomie is a computer degree sort of guy (internet security).
He says that when firefox is used it's demand of the computer continually increases through the time you use it each time, while the folks at google were so kind as to develop this new browser which doesn't.
