Wow that's interesting/scary. I've always felt it was a bad idea to have your address in your signature and here pics are doing it for you! However, I can't retrieve any GPS data off any of my pics on this site - I tried the right click but the "View Image EWF Data" option is not on my drop down menu.
Is it only certain cameras or cameras on phones which logs the data or do you need some kinda hacker program (or a Mac) to see it? I also crop and reduce my photo file size in PS to forum friendly 800x600 so perhaps this erases that data when it's converted to JPG?
Someone with a camera phone should post a pic in this topic so we can see if it comes up.
To be fair here's a pic of mine from a Nikon Coolpix S8000
Well obviously the phone/camera has to have GPS capability and the save Geolocation/GPS option enabled (default on some). Android, iPhone, Nokia N-series, Windows Phone and Blackberry have GPS. Earlier models may not.
Some of the image sharing sites allow you to remove geolocation data, either at upload or afterwards, such as Photobucket and Picassa. See the privacy settings for your accounts.

Don't you know the Chinese have been incorporating a nerve gas agent in the epoxy on the microchips they send around the world.? And all they have to do is send a signal to vaporize the chips to release the gas? Perfect for cell phones, cameras and wireless headsets which you use near your face.

I'll give it a shot. You guys know my last name anyway...my address is nothing that couldn't be found in a phone book. Now, to figure out how to post pictures from my phone...

I can't tell whether it worked or not. That "View Image Access Data" they were showing in the clip isn't showing for me. But Picasa does show the Long and Lat if I go to the full details page.
Picasa is a photo hosting website...like Photobucket and Flickr. I think monkey's right that there's also software you can download to organize photos on your computer. https://picasaweb.google.com/
