Nice shots!

Next time I have cuttings I will try one in water and see how it works for me.

Thanks :)

I've rooted things in water before with just a straight cut without slits up the stem a little.. might depend on the plant though.

No suggestions... I can say that it's been living outside since last May and no flowers until now, so maybe it needs 40-45F at night with 60-65F during the day for a few months with only 3-4 hours of direct sunshine, followed by 75-80F days with 65F at night with 5-6hrs direct sunshine. They're *just* growing back now after making gemmae for a few months.

hmmm well mine are making gammae now so if they take the same course they may flower after that.

  • #15
Yeah so maybe bump up the temps and daylight hours after they get rid of all their gemmae?

Holy Nepenthes! That is quite a collection ya got there :) That Drosera pot... out of curiosity, is that Drosera graminifolia? The leaves look too thick to be Drosera filiformis.

Thanks guys :)

Baylorguy: which Drosera pot - the scorpioides? or in the VFT minibog - that's some random forked leafed that I got at a cute flower shop that's split 2X so I think it counts as dichotoma maybe?
