it is wet from water.......looks great in person dry but near impossible to get a good photo of it dry.....

I collect opals too, as I have arock and mineral collection. I have been looking for australian opal for a long time, but it is quite expensive. I do have two mexican opals and two oregon opals. Nice find!

depends on what yah call expensive......can be found pretty reasonable if you have the time to look and wait......
