New Snap and Shoot Camera = Pictures! (DUW)

Hey guys, my mom got a New Nikon Coolpix S8100.

So I was just playing around with the features, but it actually works pretty well for an under 200$ camera.

Heres my 14 year old budget'd setup:

Pinguiculia primiflora flower:

'Royal Ruby' Flytrap:

Stuck in the flowerstalk!! - Does the plant recieve any nutrients from this? The mosquito barely looks harmed and it's been there for several weeks.

Messin' around with the color of the pictures

The blackest pitcher in my opinion; The dead pitcher.

Messin' with the colors again. For this one I now see that I need to lower the brightness for it to be a better picture.

Critique me guys! I love taking pictures and it makes me smile when they come out pretty good. I tried messing around with the brightness and colors so it would look better, and to be honest, I'm very pleased with the outcome. I really want to learn!
