Hmm. Guess no more pics in a little while - here's some stuff I took today:
minors
flava ornata
rosea luteolata
purp montana (I wanted to get a pic from the side but I just couldn't manage to bend over like I wanted to
)
the U.nelumbifolia flower again. purple
platychila - staked it up some. It really needs to grow upwards and open up!
inermis with 3 pitchers at the same time!!
some unidentified pings
densiflora x robcantleyi
hamata of possible AW origins popped the 2nd pitcher
the xSong of Melancholy is getting nice colour down the side
flava's pitcher opened up but not by much. I really should repot to lfs : perlite (same with the vanilla orchid) but I just can't manage it
maybe next weekend. I have a hunch it'd pitcher better that way.
The two blooms on some Phal mutt that I have. I actually bought it for a coworker that was in the hospital for some mystery cold/flu a couple years ago who ended up passing away. We never found out why, but I'm guessing pneumonia. Guy was 28! So if you get sick, go to the doctor if you feel super extra sick, and definitely don't stay through work! The plant has never grown any new leaves, but keeps blooming off the same stalk I bought it with.
thorelli x campanulata basal
the veitchii K now that the perisome's furled back as much as it's going to
izumiae x xtrusmadiensis
vft b52 doing the best of the vfts
with some wee cobras hanging out in that last pic - here's a closeup of some other little cobras poking their heads up outta that painfully aggressive tropical sphag
glabrata still hasn't opened, but hey, it's growing and inflating pitchers so who am I to complain?
and hamata x platychila with striped peristome. These colour up as they age so my wonderful stripes are short-lived.
