Everything looks great. All the stuff I sent you seems to have recovered nicely.

Thanks! Yeah, they seem to be doing well so far :)

---------- Post added at 07:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:06 PM ----------

My D. adelae seem to crap out and shrivel up once a year for a couple months, then they freaking EXPLODE again.

And thanks for the Ping rock update. That thing is so freaking cool. Gotta attempt something like that some time.

Oh, and... I may be flying to WA and then driving back in the next couple months and if so, I'm totally buying like 5 bags of that freaking sand and driving all the way back with it, hahaha.

EDIT: This is a fan-FREAKING-tastic post!!! :spazz:

Hmm.. well maybe thats what they're doing.. the small offshoots look just fine, its just the bigger older plants..

No prob on the update. I just hadnt taken any new photos since nothing has changed lol.. Im growing a bunch of moranensis leaf pullings so am planning on adding those to the rock when they're big enough..

Hey, when you come up here we'll have to hook up.. I can take ya around to the various awesome plant shops/nurseries up here... and good idea on the sand LOL.. The place I got it is like 10 miles or less from my fav plant shop in Seattle..

All looking great as usual. Love that rock, can't wait to see those pings grow all over it in time. :-D

Did a bit of work outside today.. Filled up one of the 15gal pots I picked up recently, and planted Doreen's Colossus, Leah Wilkerson, Wilkerson's White Knight and Adrian Slack in it..

This whole time I always thought that what I had purchased was several individual divisions of Doreen's Colossus, all put into one pot.. I learned today, that no.. it is just a SINGLE MASSIVE rhyzome with like 6 growth points on it.. The thing is the size of a large grapefruit..

Wow that primrose is gorgeous!

Nice...the collection keeps growing Brie. Funny how that always happens. ;)
Did you break up that "DC" Rhizome or keep it intact?

Wow.. can't wait to see that place in full swing!

I really like your photo station. Obviously it works well.

My adelae has done that too. The older plant has about 4 leaves with dew on them and the glands on the others have all dried out. I'm gonna repot it and try lower light levels soon.

Colossus is right! Can't wait to see it full in pitchers.

Are you going to post photos of your new D. graminifolia? :banana2:

Glad its not just mine.. I repotted them, and they perked up again for a while, but now are all weird and brown again..

Definitely posting pics of the graminifolia when they arrive, dont worry :)

The primrose is..... I don't know how to describe it, it's just pretty. Very contrasty.

That's one hell of a rhizome.
