My nep is too tall!

I'm not sure what to do at this point. As you can see from the pic below, my N. Ramispina has grown to the top of my grow rack. It's not a particularly tall plant, it just hit 2 feet including the pot, but its tall enough to grow through the top of the rack. Outdoors isn't an option - I don't want to try it in 100F temps and I definitely can't leave it out during the winter.

I'm considering some options but I'm definately open to suggestions. 1. Put it on the floor and shift the fluorscent lights off the side of the grow rack to provide some (but probably inadequate) lighting. 2. Chop it off and make cuttings. 3. Put it on the floor and get an HPS (or similar) light to provide better light penetration.

I'd like to get uppers on this plant so I'd prefer to not chop it up. What do you guys think?

Chop it off and make cuttings! :awesome:

Has it developed any basals yet? I would imagine so with it being at that stage of vining. Here's my 2 cents.

Chop it off where it's still green and not woody, and on above leaves with pitchers that have already come and gone. Once it's rooted, plant it in the pot next to the basal. Then you'll have the developing basal with lowers, and the now shorter vine with uppers.

i was going to say cut a few of the wires out and let it grow up through it but you have those trays in there so that wouldnt work
