For those of you that have gotten, are getting, or may one day get rooted nep cuttings from me.. this is for you. Thought I'd show the process a little of how I root one's nep cuttings. Enjoy!
We start with a basal or side shoot from one of my vining neps. Pictured is an N. x leessii side shoot being donated to Jeanine. Prior to going into the tank of course..
One of the rooting tanks. Low light, live media, covered for high humidity, and in the cool conditions of the HL GH.
However, these tanks are starting to be overrun by ivy and utrics.
A few cuttings rooted and ready to ship to Awggy.
More times than not the cuttings continue to grow and pitcher throughout the months of rooting. N. veitchii x eymae
