    It's a very big red belly slider. She was to ofar away to tell exactly how big. We found a huge one last year.

    Well said. Maybe that's why I like maxima so much. It grows a lot faster than burbidgeae does, too.

    I really like the delicate, rosy coloring of the Chesterfield purpurea. Subtle and striking at the same time, if that is possible. And your jumping spider shots are world-class.

    It does have a rather attractive color. Thanks for the compliments! I couldn't believe the spider photos turned out that well, to be honest.
