Last year Paul (Growinold) painted this watercolor for me.... This year for Christmas I got it custom framed with some nice museum grade UV glass.

Paul is truly a man of many talents....

Freakin awesome, it is going to be proudly displayed in my office.
:hail:

hehehe sorry I got the watermark wrong.... forgot no "g"

Very nice!

Freaking awesome is correct!

That's very nice work, does he have a portfolio / online gallery site? I suppose not after that thread the other day... LOL

no online gallery site that I am aware of.... he and his wife do have a website but I would have to look through my emails to give ya the url.

hopefully he will see this thread :)

I also have a smaller version of the same subject he did prior to this work.... hope to get it framed as well soon.

Excellent painting and framing!

Wow, that's beautiful! Wouldn't mind paying for one of those :)

Amazing watercolor work. Very nice looking with that frame.

Thank you Butch,
for the kind words.
(And for everyone else who liked the painting.)

I will be doing more CP work (hopefully) this coming year,
if time is on my side. I do have some works in progress, but it can sometimes take forever to finish something I like.
(Took me a month or so to get the NASC painting done!)

Well, Happy Holidays all! (and thanks again Butch!)
(And Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it.)
:water:

And yes, wife & I now Draw, Paint & teach Art for a living.
We used to do other things also, but now only do the fine art end of life.
We have done the gallery "thing" for many years, but mostly do things in a slightly different way now. (More rewarding & less hassle.) While CP artwork is only a small portion of the work I do, it is one of the things I enjoy the most. And I used to post some CP work on the net in years past, I no longer do that & only have a few old "common work" pieces floating about.
Thanks again for the kind sentiments all.

By the way, nice job of adding the Santa hat to John B., Butch!
