sweet sweet pictures.
that mikei has a very peculiar morphology. are pitchers constantly like that? they almost seem vogellii shaped. if they do, i might have to ask you for a future cutting.
jamesonia looks like it's been mounted very well, makes me wish i did something like that. maybe i can. phenomenal idea with growing like sphagnum on it as well. that would do amazingly well for campbelliana.
everything else looks great, from the adult neps too the seedlings, thanks for sharing!
Thanks.
I agree, the N.mikei is very distinct looking. It's the first pitcher it's produced for me. Got it as a small cutting a few months ago. I also just noticed that you can actually see the U.jamesonia roots towards the bottom of the mount.
Nice update. I always forget this is your photo thread.
Curious to see how the hamiguitanensis is going to turn out. Never know with some of these newer clones.
Where did your mikei come from? Seems to show the same black coloration as mine, as well as the spotting on the leaves. Picked mine up from a vendor who doesn't seem to be running a website anymore but operates out of Fort Bragg, California.
Wild populations of N.hamiguitanensis are very variable in structure and color so I could only assume the same variation exists in the TC clones. Some are really nice while others are pretty lack lustre. I can only hope this one gets some nice shape to it. Should be able to get a good idea from the next 3 or 4 pitchers.
I got my mikei as a cutting from a member on here. Not sure where the parent plant came from.
One of my very few lowlanders, Nepenthes sumatrana that I grew from seed.

Nepenthes fusca - "Form A" These were the first Nepenthes I ever germinated, about 3 years old now. These 3 plants were all from the same pod, kept under the same conditions and, sown at the same time.

I'm keeping the sumatrana in intermediate conditions at best. It's been very neglected. I don't remember what I used for media, probably just sphagnum. That is a pure mikei supposedly, forget the clone.
Great update. Great job on the Helis - looks like it's humidity or bust with them. You're also making me want to bring my eymae x ephippiata back into the grow rack. I think I've been under-appreciating that one.

Humidity seems to be even more important than low temps with them. If kept at 80% - 90% humidity, they seem to be able to tolerate higher temps. N.eymae X ephippiata is going to look amazing in a year or so. Don't disregard it's somewhat plain appearance while still young Mat !
