Why does Jurassic Park come to mind?

Because it's pretty much the same thing, but with plants.
Very cool! I don't think Sarracenia seeds would survive that long, considering they rarely last more than a year in the seed bank. Yes, this is a challenge.

Why does Jurassic Park come to mind?
I would not know. The dinosaurs disappeared about 65 million years ago -- whereas 30,000 years ago is comparatively just a blink of the eye.

Okay, so now my hopes and expectations are for mammoths. We Canadians can finally get a beast of burden that suits our climate.
