Gardening freak!
I just bought and installed a Davis Vantage Vue 3 days ago. I was wondering if anyone else here has a home weather station. Just curious!

You and all other weather nuts should join the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network. CoCoRaHS is a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail and snow).

Or, at least, check out the precipitation maps to see how your measured rainfall compares to that measured by your neighbors.

I have one my wife got me for my birthday last summer. The sensor looks similar to yours, but yours looks a bit higher class. Mine came from Wally World.

I have had the Davis Vantage pro 2 wireless for years.
I also have a separate temp station and all the weather info from both stations gets uploaded to a webpage. It's great because I can check on things in my highland nepenthes area just by checking the webpage on my phone where ever I am.
