I've got quite a few to show:
Yuna
Yuna was a rescue, and I had never seen a cat in worse condition than she was when we found her three years ago. She's healthy and happy now.

I guess i'll join in... This is my Little John, which has cost me many thousands of dollars recently. But he's worth it, thats what I keep telling myself lol. He was born in my closet when I was 13 years old.. My mother still has his mother.. He was the biggest, fattest kitten of the litter, even as a newborn. Today he is a 20lb beast.

Taken a couple weeks ago

Little while before that, at the vet. I thought the vet table accurately portrayed how big he is lol.

^ that face kills me.. what a handsome cat!

So many cute cats.. I'm gonna go crazy!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Irish Wolfhound Devon.. I was trying to convince my fiance that they aren't THAT big ;) He wasn't buying it.

Larry, so cool your photo is in one of those books. I didn't notice you'd mentioned it and thought to myself, "Hey! That is the same kitten!"

I gotta join in since I've got two boys of my own..

My Mooey, Mooey because his meow is more of a "moo" and his spots use to be cow-like. Now that he's older they mushed into one giant spot. I found him with one other kitten (abandoned I guess) with their eyes not even opened 9 years ago; he's 9 :)

This is Chai, he's ~6; We adopted him last summer from a place called Pasado's Safe Haven. They named him and I kept it, because they rescued him, and he'd probably already gotten use to it. He's also enormous, not quite as huge as "Little John" (who is not only enormous, but an enormous cutie!) but he's up there at 18lbs.

DJ57, is Calamity a shih-tzu? It looks nearly identical to my little buddy, Mousse. Here he is as a pup.

This is my dog Nero. Found on the side of the road in a box at about eight weeks old with three litter mates (he is 12 weeks old in the first pic).

Yes, Calamity is suppose to be a shih-tzu, but the biggest one I have ever seen at 22 pounds, so don't know if the mom was sleeping around, lol. Yours is sooo cute, except for the color, that face looks identical to Calamity.

They entertain me when they fight for territory among the plants so I consider them a pet.

*sigh* It makes me so happy to see so many critter babies loved and happy. They're all so cute but I do have to admit I got a special warm fuzzy glow to see someone else loves the giants with that wolfhound. It was a real contest with me to decide between showing wolfhounds or great danes! There's just something special for me about the gentle giants. Sadly they also have a shorter life span. We lost Hudson last December to osteosarcoma. It's been a bad time for us for pets losing him and we recently lost two of our cats, Luna and Blackie but we still have our other babies to console us.

My big baby!! I miss Hudson so.

Nessie! She's a colombian rainbow boa, one of the smaller and easier to keep boas.
scaled.php

Jasmine (with chicken all over her beak :-))) Jas is a "rescue" from a pet store.
scaled.php

And Jasmine's twin, Lilly, playing in the paper. We rescued Lilly from abusive circumstances which makes life interesting for my husband since Lilly believes that it's her mission in life to sneak up on him to try to kill him. When Lilly is loose we have to be very careful because she gets super upset if my husband touches me at all and will come after him full force!

Daisy we found a few summers ago desperately trying to get a drink from our pool. Seems a neighbor didn't want her anymore and just tossed her out.
scaled.php

Wolfy was a shelter pup.
scaled.php

Dids was rescued from another neighbor who didn't want him anymore so left him to wander the streets. He's named for Sir Didimus in Labyrinth (no spell check ARGH lol)
scaled.php

We found Misty here at the store parking lot. She was just running up to everyone in a panic so when my husband crouched down and called her she just about bowled him over. We looked but never did find her owner so she's ours now!
scaled.php

My horse, Brother. He was winning some money at the racetrack when someone let him get a leg caught up in his halter injuring a tendon. He's fine for casual riding but that tendon wouldn't ever hold up to the stresses of racing again so his owner just wanted someone to take him off his hands.
scaled.php

My husband's somewhat chubby horse, Traveler. Traveler's an awesome laid back kinda guy!
scaled.php

Tina was pretty badly abused and still hasn't completely come around for us yet. She's letting me pet her face now which is good progress! She's a natural gaited paso fino and SOOOO much fun to ride!
scaled.php

And Benny the Wonder Donkey! He followed one of my son's home one day, seriously :-)) We found his owners but they decided that they didn't want him. I think they were well intended but didn't know what to feed him so they were feeding him completely wrong. Poor lil Benny was breaking into their chicken house to steal the straw from the nests because he didn't have any grazing or hay to eat.
