yup! thanks again. Do you think I should bag it or do you think since it has ventricosa it can tough out the sudden low humidity?

  • #25
bag it. better safe than sorry.. and going from 90% humidity to a windowsill may be even a bit much for ventricosa.

Ok.. im going to have to probably stick it on a north facing windowsill while acclimating it because the direct sun into the bag could overheat it.

It was getting 80*F days with 50*F nights. Seems to grow faster when the days were even warmer.

  • #28
I guess i can put it on the back of the windowsill so it doesnt get too much direct sun while acclimating it.

  • #29
it's been a long time since it's been exposed to natural sunlight. Would probably explode with growth..

Gah, I want my peltata NOW! :spazz:

two new insane plants came today.
First off.... seed grown Nepenthes burbidgeae, I wish I knew the locality but I have a feeling it is from Pig Hill.
The plant was supposed to be 3" in diameter... Also, you can see part of the growthtip was decapitated but hopefully it will be ok.

Also these orchids were flowering in my bog.... not related at all but still cool.

thats a fat little burb

  • #33
bummer about the growth point. looks strong enough to pull through just fine though.
leaves aren't as red as I was expecting.

  • #34
Nice jamban cutting... Is it rooted or not yet?

  • #35
Yup it's rooted.

  • #37
A jacq.

  • #39
Lucky for you burbs have a maxima-like growth form. The new leaf is nestled down in the petiole. THere should be no problem with the next leaf.

  • #40
that is an epic jamban

lucky no one sends me plants :-(
