Hi, I wanted to post pictures of the plants I won in the latest NASC auction. They are all growing fabulously. I won a Drosera esmeraldae which has gotten much bigger.http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk231/mattbyers/recent/esmereldae.jpg
I got a group of bladderworts, includeing warburgii and nephrophylla which are both flowering. These are some of my first Utrics besides bisquamata, so I'm glad they agree with me. Very cool flowers.

I also got some D. meristocaulis, which are super coolest. I still can't believe I have them. They seem to be doing well, and growing in size. I do have to trim the moss very frequently to prevent a takeover, but you kinda gotta get em' up in your face to enjoy them anyways.

Thanks to the people who donated these plants to begin with, they are doing well and I thouroughly enjoy them!!
Now, I've been meaning to photgraph these plants for a while, any finally did in today. Having unpotted many Pings before, I've never seen what I would consider a subsantial root system. And even if they are dense, they seem to never be really long. I'm trying to figure out why these ones, the first I've ever potted into tall pots, have become soo large. As far as I can tell that is the only difference(same soil/light/temp,etc.) I kinda want to wash the media away just to see if they've made roots to the bottom of the pot. Anyways, check these guys out. P. gigantea x moctezumae and P. agnata UC Davis. Both are the biggest examples I've grown by a long shot. They are just ridiculous. I must have taken 60 photos. Hope you like em'.
