Sorry to say this, but your S. flava var. maxima is actually a S. flava var. flava. I can see veins with pigmentation.

O well, I still love that lip! Just gives me a excuse to get a another plant! :lol: Just got to find time to change all the posts! -it was totally green when i got it so it is a result of my high lighting! Maybe i should have put it under shade cloth (almost wrote shave cloth)? ???

I like seeing drosera flowers as well, I have pollinated 2 d. filiformis flowers with a d. capensis.

That looks like a controlled burn, very essential in that kind of habitat. Is that psittacina x flava anthocyanin free?

Unfortunately that was not a controlled burn (not the time of year they do them) and the psittacina x flava has small amounts of red on the growing pitchers so it is not. :-(
