M Jacobs Photo thread

Figured I would start my own photo thread for people to see and for myself to keep track of my plants progress.

Also let me know if you can't see them. I'm not very good at posting photos so any tips for speeding the process up would be great as well!

Here is a little update. I got a tenuis cutting in a trade. One of the cutting didn't make it and this cutting appeared that it would suffer the same fate. the top (now black) node swelled initially, and then died. I figured that I would check the bottom of the cutting since there was a second node that I had no hope for sprouting since it was so close to the bottom of the cutting. To my surprise a white growth was coming out of the bottom of the cutting. It appears to be the start of a new growth point. It is white currently I am assuming because it was not photosynthetic and thus lacked the necessity to produce a large quantity of chlorophyll to give it a typical green look. I hope that this cutting will survive well since I am really looking forward to (hopefully) having a nepenthes tenuis. Any tips would be helpful. This isn't something I have seen on the forum or any forum before so I figured I would post about.

That's interesting, I think your right about why it is white. I love that truncata x ovata! Amazing!

Amazing plants! The burb x veitchii is a stunner for sure. Pics of the grow chamber or wherever youre growing these?

Here is my grow tent. Getting crammed for sure but there is still more space in there as long as I rearrange everything and line everything up neatly. It is what years of hoarding plants gets you though. One day I'll have a greenhouse. Far off in the future though. The veitchii x burb is currently my favorite plant. Amazing how it changed with a little more age.
