ID HELP REQUESTED: Tropical Fruits Galore

Hi folks,

An enterprising young college kid harvested a few neat tropical fruits from the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and brought them to me at the greenhouses. He picked based on "ooh-that's-cool" and wasn't sure of the names. Reminded me of my intensive "plant liberation" phase when I was in college. =)

Point is, I could really use a hand at identifying them. One I've pegged as a Hamburger Bean, greenish cluster of 3 likely Areca nuts, but for the life of me have never seen the rest. As you will see, all colors of the rainbow are represented.

So group, whatcha think? Any and all help, guesses correct, wrong, and ballpark, are greatly appreciated. All permission given to pass the photos onto facebook groups, nerdy friends, and anyone with greater plant knowledge than I. I am particularly fond of the blue one, so points will be awarded to whoever gets that one. The big brown one at the bottom rattles like there's something inside... I'll find out tomorrow.

Kevin,
if im not mistaken, the striped seed in the middle is one of the Macrura species known in Trinidad culture as the Donkey's Eye, aka Velvet Bean, I believe. It has a role in Santerian ritual magic.

The one on the far right in the first photo I THINK is a Veitchia merrillii seed without the bristles. Cant be sure though.
Ive seen some at the denver botanic gardens that are similar in shape.

The seed at 6 o clock might be Annona cherimola ?

Thanks, guys!

Mach, you are awesome :hail:

Those IDs are spot-on as far as I'm concerned. I think the alleged Crinum seeds may be the Areca nuts. Thanks very much.
