Hi wezx. A tissue culture is basically sterilized plants grown in a sterilize sealed environment.  I think they can be started with cuttings and seeds. Everything has to be sterile, otherwise the culture will be overrun with fungus and bacteria.

How much does it cost to set up a basic tissue culture operation? It definately calls to the mad scientist in me.
