Yet another soil question

Hi, am about to put my 3 Vf in one large pot. Since they came to me already potted, I am wondering if you are supost to pack as much soil in the pot as you can or fill the pot up with little or no packing of the soil?

I already have had 2 VF bulbs die and i think this was a soil problem.

i dont wont these plants to die because they are already thriving in their own seperate pots.

moving to the VFT forum..

I use a mix of peatmoss and medium grade silica sand. 3:1 roughly.. the mix is moist when I plant. I try and keep the potting mix lightly tamped down so that it wont settle too much. But otherwise it is still pretty loose and airy.
