ok, i'm new to CPs. I bought a venus flytrap a few months ago, it already had tall flower stalks, so I let the stalk grow and flower. I now know that I shouldn't have let it flower, the stalk now has a large green sphere at the end of it which has little leaves growing out of it, is that a bulb? Should I cut it off and plant it? Thanks for any information

Nicholas is right, it's too late to cut it off now. You might as well enjoy the flower. The flower will cause the plant to grow really slow for awhile.

Enjoy the flower. It will not hurt the plant. You might even experiment with pollinating the flowers to produce seeds and then plant the seed to make baby VFTs. Check out the FAQ at
