what does it mean? are there any leaves on the plants? if not, then do they sprout small traps/leaves/pitchers or the size according to their age? thanks
Bare root plants generally means the plants come with littel or no soil around thier roots. Then you simply replant them into soil and they will grow like a regular plant. I prefer to order without pots or potless which means the palnts come with a large ball of soil around thier roots, bascially they are removed form thier pots and shipped out with the soil that was in the pot around thier roots.

Bulb refers to not leaves. Just a crown, rhizome, root, tuber...whatever you want to call it
It will sprout new leaves and become a 'plant' in about 6-8 weeks. They will look like the age of the bulb once grown out. ( trap size, pitcher size ).
Bare root like Nep G said is a plant without a pot.
If you have the means to replant and repot, bare root plants are usually cheaper.
But if it is your first plant, or are unsure about what to do and how to plant them, potted is the best way to go!
