What is the difference between Sea Monkeys, triops, Aretemia salina, and Nauplii? I used to have a big can of the Artemia salina I used for hatching to feed my bubblenest builder fry.
Er... sea monkeys and Artemia salina are the same thing... brine shrimp. Triops are... triops or tadpole shrimp in the common tongue. Go to googles for pics.
The sea monkeys are artemia salina, but are hybrids of some sort. They ARE larger and hardier than they used to be if you had a set a couple of years ago. I've had about 4 sets of them, so I can vouch for that. Triops scare the coworkers, but Sea Monkeys are great for the office.
