hello. i would like to share with you some pics of the very first meeting of the ontairo carnivorous plants society. i would say it was fantastic and i had a wonderful time

. anyone who didn't go should go the the next meeting. anyways, heres quite a few pics on the event:


Lloyds plants: we hosted our meeting at a cpers house. here are some pics of his collection:

Jocelyn's plants: Jocelyn is a distributer of rare neps in canada. he brought along with him some plants to drool for:

D. adelea, it was in flower but he gave me the stalk

D. spatulata, which to me looks amazingly red. good contrast to the green moss.

a mystery drosera, but i say its spatulata.

Oh no, Syble killed it! but while it was in pain, it regurgetated its pitcher contents onto Syble's hands. go nep

the nep cutting is now potted in vermiculite. Syble now explains the benifits of covering most of the nep.

our ping experiment. each member took a leaf off this ping and took it home. in the next meeting, we will compare to see whos got the best.

the ocps seedbank is loaded with seeds!

boy, does Lloyd know how to throw a party! this is some of the snacks that we ate, but i was haveing too much fun to remember to take some. i had a bunch of cookies tho.

a variety of drinks for the young and old, along with a pail of distilled water for the cps.

i dont know who this vft belonged too, so i put it here.

Andre- couldn't resist could you

. i should have traded in my tentaculata for it, but i didn't know the prices matched.

mabudon- thats not an excuse

there were a few people who drove 4 hours to attend the meeting.

schloaty- for pft, it took me a few min, simple copy and paste. but for the original on cpuk, it took me about 30min to get it all together
