for those of who might not remember:
"It is quite simply the biggest musical event in history. Those who weren’t lucky enough to get in on the action the first time around can soon experience all that is Live Aid in their very own homes. The extremely long awaited DVD release will be available for purchase on November 16th, much to the pleasure of many music fans around the world.
On July 13th, 1985 the live concert event was broadcast around the globe, took place on two continents, and dragged in a whopping 1.5 billion viewers. The event went on to raise over $70 million for the 11 million people starving on the continent of Africa. On hand to help out with Live Aid were some of the biggest names ever to be known in the world of music: Elton John, Madonna, Queen, Sting, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Neil Young, Bryan Adams, The Cars, and the list goes on and on.
Now nearly twenty years later, those who missed the broadcast, weren’t even born yet, or want to relieve the Bob Geldof organized phenomenon have their opportunity to witness Bono’s nice mullet once again. "
